August's Bio

August Rey is currently a college student and a youth organizer. He is passionate about politics, youth civic engagement, and advocacy, focusing on students' rights and reproductive Justice.

Whether it be through speaking out at school board meetings, running voter registration drives at their school, or taking their activism straight to Tallahassee along with SEE and the Florida Student Power Network, August is committed to making a difference and leaving behind a positive legacy in Sarasota and in Florida as a whole.
