Born and raised in Sarasota and a proud attendee of our public schools, as are her two children, Lauren Kurnov M.S.W., Ed.D. started working seven years ago at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee as Assistant Vice President and Director of Student Success. Here, she spearheaded numerous programs and partnerships connecting students to career opportunities in the community. Most recently, Lauren worked as an educational consultant with New College of Florida’s Office of Outreach and Inclusive Excellence and Student Affairs. She received her Doctor of Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
