Calling on all Democratic Party supporters of PUBLIC EDUCATION  to attend our monthly ZOOM meeting of the Democratic Public Education Caucus of Manasota. We look forward to your input and your support at our meetings, the third Monday of each month. at 7:30 pm.

We are excited to have, at our  Sept. 19th ZOOM meeting,  Daniel Kuether and Jan Schneider as our guest speakers.

Meet DANIEL KUETHER – Candidate for County Commissioner, District 4

We are excited to have DANIEL KUETHER as our guest speaker.  Daniel has a unique perspective as someone who has worked in real estate, “from property management and development to real estate tech.” He understands the need for  “holistic development that benefits the entire community” and  “if elected…will push against developers to force systematic change, support multiple forms of transportation, identify and implement affordable housing options, and establish more significant safeguards for the surrounding environment.”  As a gay man, Daniel knows all too well the chilling effects of bigoted laws pushed by the Republican Party throughout Florida and will stand up for the civil rights of all our residents. Please join us for an informative evening and bring your questions. For info: https://www.electkuether.com/

Public education has been under attack in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida and around the nation. We have formed a new chapter of the Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida and  as Democrats it’s important that we have a local Caucus that will focus on educational issues.
