A provocative comedy that shows the American public what life is like in countries with policies very different from the US.  If you want something different for our country in the coming years, here are some examples of what can be achieved.  The future can hold something different if we envision it and work for it.

We selected this film as a less serious approach to our normal ‘lecture’ meeting format. Come watch an hour of this film together and then adjourn to a local restaurant for us to gather after the meeting & discuss.

Many like-minded Englewood voters are coming together to reinstate the Englewood Democratic Club.  We are forming the group to gather people across both counties that make up our town of Englewood to come together to support environmental stewardship, a sustainable economy to benefit all, accessible education for all citizens, healthcare, voting rights, good government and immigration policies.”

Meetings will be held on the 4th Wednesday of every month, 5:30pm, usually at the Elsie Quirk Library, 100 S. Dearborn St., Englewood, FL 34223.  **SUMMER (June-August) MEETINGS ARE NOT USUALLY HELD, but feel free to check back on this page as we will update the Calendar if a meeting is set for summer months.
