Please join us at the Englewood Democratic Club monthly HYBRID Membership meeting,  held on  ZOOM and IN-PERSON at the Englewood Chamber of Commerce – 601 S Indiana Ave., in Englewood. Our guest speaker DAWN MANN, is the newly elected Chair of the Charlotte County Democratic Party.

Topics will include the goals and initiatives for Charlotte County Democrats for the upcoming year. Bring your questions to the Q&A after the presentation.  Happy social time will follow the meeting, and as usual, we will offer beer and wine and snacks.  We apologize for the technical difficulties with Zoom at the last EDC Meeting on February 22nd and have been reassured the issues have been resolved. 

Dawn Mann joined the Charlotte County Democratic Party to meet like-minded people and help with the 2020 election and was just elected Chair of the Charlotte County DEC in December 2022. Dawn worked for Microsoft for almost 20 years. Prior to that, she was a political analyst focused on the former Soviet Union, working at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC and Radio Free Europe in Munich, Germany. Dawn has been retired since 2016 and moved to Port Charlotte with her husband in 2019.

We meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. We gather people across both Charlotte and Sarasota counties that make up our town of Englewood, to support environmental stewardship, accessible healthcare for all citizens, protect Social Security and the platform of the Democratic Party.
