Deborah L. Foote is the Sierra Club Florida’s first Government Affairs & Political Director. A former New Hampshire State Representative, she has been involved in public policy efforts for over 25 years. In 1998, Deborah was recognized by the NH Rivers Council for her exceptional legislative leadership in river and watershed conservation. She has served as a municipal conservation commissioner in Durham and Concord, NH, and as a member of the Boulder County (CO) Parks & Open Space Advisory Council. Deborah holds a BA in Sociology from Bowdoin College and a Master in Public Administration from the University of NH. She now lives in Tallahassee.
