Becky Ayech, an environmental and community activist will be our special guest speaker at our March 11, 2021 General Membership meeting. Becky will be discussing the proposed Hi Hat Ranch development in Sarasota County. She currently (and for the last 25+ years) is president of the Environmental Confederation of Southwest Florida, an umbrella organization with members from 7 counties. She also serves as the president of the Miakka Community Club. The Miakka Community Club owns, restores and maintains a 105 year old one room schoolhouse. The Community Club works to conserve and protect the rural area.
Serves on: SWFWMD EAC. She founded this committee with the help of SWFWMD Member Rebecca Eger.
