The Sarasota County Democratic Party calls on us to show our opposition to the Sarasota County School Board’s intent to remove School Superintendent Dr. Brennan Asplen. This is a non-partisan issue that we should all join, for the benefit of the students.      

Join the “Support Our Schools” Rally at 4:00 p.m. outside the School Board Chambers, 1960 Landings Blvd., Sarasota. We urge everyone to attend who cares about our schools.  Please make & bring your own sign. The Board Meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m.  If you want to speak, sign up at the meeting by 4:30 p.m.

This special meeting was called by the Board in a 4 to 1 vote by Bridget Ziegler, Tim Enos, Robin Marinelli and Karen Rose. Only Tom Edwards voted against having the special meeting.
