Join us on ZOOM, Wednesday March 23 at 7:30 pm when the Sarasota-Charlotte  Progressive Caucus presents: “Meet the Moms Who are Building a Movement to Support Public Schools.”

A group of mothers of school age children are leading a movement in Sarasota and beyond to support public schools and challenge the attacks on public education by state legislators and groups like Moms for Liberty.  

SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS (SOS) FOUNDERS, ANGELA WYNN and LISA SCHURR WILL DISCUSS:

  • The history, mission and future goals of SOS.

  • The importance of the ‘Take the Pledge to Support Public Schools campaign.’

  • The way Democrats can help SOS grow while recognizing the potential power of this movement in helping Dems to win elections.

Our Caucus now meets on the 4th (not last) Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM via Zoom.
