Jim Eachus is a retired software developer with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics. He and his wife, Ann, owned a software business for 25 years, with customers as diverse as the US Navy Base in Key West and Trident Seafoods in Akutan, Alaska. Jim’s concern about climate change was first sparked twenty years ago by reports in Alaska of melting permafrost. After retiring in Seattle, they spent winters in Sarasota until they became permanent Sarasota residents last fall.
