Show up and Speak Out at the August Sarasota School Board Meeting
S.O.S. SAVE OUR SCHOOLS – LET’S FILL THE ROOM!
CONTINUE TO SHOW UP, SHOW SOLIDARITY and SPEAK OUTWITH RESPECT at the next Sarasota School Board Meeting on Tuesday August 3rd at 6 pm at the Sarasota County School Board Chamber – 1980 Landings Blvd.
WE SEEK SPEAKERS who’ll offer public comments in a calm, direct and respectful way – and if provoked, will not engage.
IF YOU PLAN TO SPEAK, arrive no later than 5:30 pm & do not get in line – find security staff passing out public commentary cards.
Let’s help our School Board address the real issues facing Sarasota Schools:
Safety of our staff & students under the age of 12 who are not eligible for COVID vaccines.
Declining Florida state revenue for schools
Increasing number of vouchers to private schools
Stagnating achievement gap, particularly affecting children of color
