Progressive Sarasota, Progressive Manatee, and Suncoast Women of Action will host a Town Hall with District 70 Florida House Representative MICHELE RAYNER on Thursday, December 16th at 7pm at the FOGARTYVILLE COMMMUNITY MEDIA & ARTS CENTER –  525 Kumquat Court. 

Civil rights and social justice attorney Michele Rayner made history in 2020 when she was elected as the first openly queer Black member of the Florida legislature and established herself as one of the strongest advocates for underserved communities.  The first official day of the 2022 Florida legislative session is January 11, but over the past couple months legislators have been attending committee meetings in Tallahassee.  Rayner will share information about what we can expect from the coming legislative session.
