Barbara is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and was a reporter and editor for 15 years before becoming a lawyer. F. Lowell Curtis was the publisher of five Chronicle Newspapers in Northern Virginia from 2001 – 2011 and won several awards from the Virginia Press Association for his editorials.
