RON FEINSOD is a native Floridian. He served as Mayor for the City of Venice from 2018-2022. Ron currently lives in the Pinebrook South section of Venice.

RON SMITH was a candidate for Venice City Council in 2022. He is a semi-retired attorney who represents Venice Unites in its drive to preserve historic Venice, In an earlier incarnation, he was the executive city editor of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, managing editor of the Chattanooga Times and editor-in-chief of the Boca Raton News. He is the author of a biography of Howard Schnellenberger, the legendary Miami Dolphin and Miami Hurricane coach.
