Joe's Bio
Joe Agostine has been a dedicated advocate for inclusion, equity, and progressive values within the Democratic Party for many years. A committed member of the Florida State LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus, Joe serves as the Director of Region 6 and chairs the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Committee. Locally, he has been a pillar of the Stonewall Democratic Caucus of Sarasota, where he has led as President for six years and previously served as Secretary and Vice President.

Joe's commitment to grassroots organizing extends beyond caucus leadership. He is a founding Member of the Sarasota Senior Caucus and has been a former Member, Vice President, and Secretary of the Progressive Caucus. Additionally, he played a vital role as the Democratic Executive Committee's office manager and data entry volunteer, supporting the party's infrastructure and operations.

Through his extensive leadership roles and unwavering dedication, Joe continues to champion diversity, inclusion, and the empowerment of marginalized voices in Sarasota and beyond.
