Florida Dems Win in Landslide

Congratulations to Senator-elect LaVon Bracy Davis in SD-15 and Representative-elect RaShon Young in HD-40! These were not close races—they were landslides with SD-15 shifting 22 points and HD-40 moving 15 points to the left since last year’s Presidential election.

Together, Florida Dems made over 37,000 door knocks and phone calls and re-enrolled nearly 10,000 Democratic voters in Vote-by-Mail. This is a direct result of investing in year-round organizing, coalition building, and on-the-ground momentum that is driven by volunteers.

There are special and municipal elections later this year, and we can't let our foot off the gas. Our next Statewide Weekend of Action takes place this weekend—and I hope you'll host a phonebank or canvass, or make calls from home.
