The Voter Purge Act is moving through the Florida Legislature AND it could remove thousands of eligible U.S. citizens from the voter rolls and block others from registering -- unless they can produce a passport, birth certificate, or citizenship paperwork.

These bills will remove thousands of eligible U.S. citizens from the voter rolls and prevent U.S. citizens from being registered to vote. It is already illegal for non-citizens to vote in Florida, and the consequences of doing so are already extremely harsh. That's not what this bill is really about. This is about making voting harder for Floridians so that politicians aren't held accountable for things like the affordability crisis.
